Ruth - Leaving

We are writing to let you know, that sadly, Ruth is moving on from Littleport Community Pre- School at the end of November.

Ruth has built up good relationships with her Key children and their families, who I’m sure will be as sad as we are that she is leaving.

We wish her all the very best for her future.

We will of course need to recruit a new member of staff, and will start the process immediately, with a view to employ someone after Christmas.

We will keep the parents / carers of Ruth’s key children informed throughout the process.

Lunch time drop offs…

19th October 2018

When we return after the October half term, for those children arriving at lunchtime, we will be trialling something different. Please could you bring your child into the setting, and hang coats up and store bags as usual.  We would like you to then pop lunch boxes onto the table, and direct your child straight to the carpet area to join the other children. Once all the children are on the carpet, our Keyworkers will assist the children with hand washing and sitting down to lunch.

Our Family Tree

Some of you may have seen our family tree displayed on the wall in the Pre-school.

The children enjoy talking about their family and friends. If you have any photos that you would like to share with us, we would love to display them on our tree.

Frances Retiring

We are writing to let you know, that after 29 years, Frances is retiring from Littleport Community Pre- School at the end of the Summer term.

Throughout her devoted career with the Pre-School, Frances has touched many lives of the children and families of Littleport and as a long standing member of staff here at Littleport Community Pre-School, Frances will be greatly missed.

We wish her all the very best for her retirement and look forward to her coming back to visit.

11.07.2018 – Note to Prospective parents

Children are eligible to join our Pre-School when they turn 2 years and 6 months, and we offer places in a strict date of birth order.

We have allocated places for our September intake, to those children on our waiting list who are eligible to join.

The likelihood is that as your child approaches the age when they are able to join, a place will become available for them, however, we must advise you that we cannot guarantee this. We will of course keep you on our waiting list, and make contact as soon as the opportunity arises.

Many Thanks for your interest in our Pre-School and for your patience.
