Littleport Community Pre-School is a registered non- profit making Charity, that is managed by an Executive Voluntary (Unpaid) Committee. The Committee is largely made up of parents of children who attend the Pre-School, and are elected by members of the charity at the Annual General Meeting, which takes place each year in November.
The Committee is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient running of the Pre-school building, services, staff management, finances etc. As well as organising various fundraising events to help provide new equipment and other essential items for the Pre-school.
Without a Committee, the Pre-School would be forced to close, so parent participation is essential. The committee meet regularly, but we appreciate that it is on a voluntary basis, and understand if you cannot commit to every meeting. If each member of the Committee can do their bit to help support, take turns perhaps in fundraising and attending meetings the commitment can be shared amongst the group.
